Trump cronyism seems to be alive and well at the CDC, where the agency is now promoting a policy of not seeking testing if asymptomatic, despite the scientific community endorsing asymptomatic testing, in order to suppress positivity numbers.
This one is for you @kjayhawks , since you often remind us how unreliable the CDC is. We can thank our self serving nitwit president and his appointed crony, Robert Redfield.

@approxinfinity I think they switched it back. Trump has also tweeted misinformation about pre existing conditions and Covid. Scalise took out words from the man that has ALS, that spoke at the DNC. Did you hear trumps interview last pm on fox? If somebody could vote for him after listening to that

If I have hemophilia and a bear bites me and I bleed to death on the way to the hospital, the bear killed me. Just another way to think about it.

@FarmerJayhawk very, I’ve said since the beginning elderly and people with Health issues should be quarantining. When the story changes constantly, it makes it tough to know what to believe that’s all I’m saying.

That’s fair. A lot of the experts haven’t covered themselves in glory. First the mask 180, then well some outdoor things are ok but some aren’t depending on the cause (I.e. church vs. protesting) and more examples yet. This just seems to be one of the more tame ones.

In Reno co, the last 10 days, there were 9 kids under 20 reported cases, 1 hospitalized. 3 in 20 age group, 2 and 1 in the next age groups. The trend has been running higher for younger ages. I know our high school kids, mostly boys, are careless.

Fun thing about them! Atlas, MD is a subscription service in Wichita. I really like their delivery model. Give them a set amount per month, have unlimited visits sans insurance. Nice guys too.
Though as right as they are on a delivery model, they’re just as wrong on herd immunity. The data from Sweden are unambiguously bad.
