Why is it, that every year, so many people panic, when we don’t get recruits, early. Relax, we will be just fine! And as far as adding teams to the conference, Rick Pittino fought tooth and nail to keep Louisville out of the Big12! Does anyone remember that ‘Kentucky Masacre’, many years ago, and who was their coach at the time??? Adding Florida State would be great, and U-Conn would get us the television sets, and the Premier women’s team on the Country! Also, for those ‘Conspiracy Theorists’, who think the Big12 is going to go away-wake up! The Big12 is aligned with the SEC. Enough said. But I do think we need to have 12 teams, and a Conference Championship!!!

Udoka is a rim protector that we can’t replace, and none of us know how much he could have improved with more experience and more practice time. His defensive footwork and offensive moves, both would have improved a ton! People simply need to step up. I believe Colby and Lightfoot will be fine, and I think people are greatly underestimating Lightfoot! Bragg will be fine, if he doesn’t get so frustrated when things don’t go his way! But I do believe we will win another Big12 Conference Title, and I still believe we will go to the Final Four-and once there, anything can happen. Rock Chalk, Baby! PS: I think, from listening to Coach Self, that Colby is 100% healed, “Physically”-but ‘Mentally’ is where the problem is! My further thoughts on that, is Colby needs to stop worrying about that injury, because what he doesn’t want to do, is to overcompensate for it, and injure something else!

A lot of posters on many sites, live their lives through these kids, and many have no clue about the intricacies of basketball! First of all, Landen is one of the best ‘help defenders’ we have ever had, but so many times when he goes to help, his man scores, because our rotation stinks! In the WV game, Frank reverted to the old Frank, and from the start, tried to win the game by himself, and forced, everything! Udoka being hurt eliminates our rim protector, and that is huge because our guards keep getting beat off the dribble. Graham needs to play 2 halves. Bragg can’t drive the ball to score like Perry Ellis, and he needs to learn to go to the hoop, strong-40 pounds of muscle, they say-right! Svi makes careless turnovers because he can’t handle the ball! All that being said, it’s only ‘one game’, so no need to panic. By the way, we were in the game, but made so really bad plays. I really like Vick, but he had a break away that he loafed on, which should have been a dunk, which he got blocked, and I think they hit a ‘3’ (5 point swing)! Also, did anyone else notice how, in the 2nd half, their guards trapped Frank further out on the floor, towards the sideline, forcing him to give it up, and I would have thought that when he reversed the ball, we would have taken it down the middle, with numbers-but we didn’t! And I’m not even going to talk about free throws-no excuse:Period!!! OK, rant over! Don’t act like the season is lost-we still have time to get a lot better, and we will! I bet Kentucky fans are as brutal as ours. LOL Villanova’s probably aren’t happy either! We act like it’s just, us! PS: My observations were mostly about one game, and most of it will be corrected by the time we play Baylor, regardless of what happens at Kentucky! And Frank does look a bit tired and beat up! They need to cut down on his minutes, and Coleby needs to get his mental state right, and just go out and play, because overcompensating will cause him to hurt his other knee.

One other thing-I’m tired of teams getting so many offensive rebounds against us. I saw a lot of times when Landen was the only one under the basket, and they made us pay with their 2nd, and sometimes, 3rd chance, points! Landen needs so help in there. I mean, Seriously???

And by the way, both Vick and Landen, do things that don’t show up on the stat sheets! I know this isn’t about Landen, but I’m just making a comparison in how Vick is valued!

A lot of kids put schools like K.U., Duke, Kentucy, & North Carolina, on their lists, but that does not necessarily mean the school is actually recruiting them! That can fool recruiting services into rating them higher, and it can make other schools want them, more! But look to see if the school has offered them a Scholarship, because that will tell you if the school is seriously interested in them!

The reason Time Warner/Cox blacks out those games, is because there are a ton of K.U. fans who will not miss watching, even ‘one game’, and they switched over to Time Warner/Cox! That is a lot of money, considering people don’t just get the K.U. games, but they buy many of the large packages! I don’t like it any more than anyone else, and it is wrong-but I already had Cox, so it did not affect me!

@BeddieKU23 did you know Buddy play on Perry’s AAU Team, and that he wanted to be a Jayhawk? Self, Calipari, and a bunch of other top coaches, watched Perry and Buddy beat one of the top AAU Teams in the Country (Dreamvision), and Busdy had 35 points, yet, here he is, a Sooner! I was hoping Brennan can become ‘our Buddy’, but he is not nearly as quick, or as fast, and he definitely does not have Buddyish (is that a word?-LOL), ball handling skills! Notice the biggest difference, being Buddy can get his shot off when closely guarded, while Brennan really struggles with that, although he is driving the ball better than in the past. For the most part, I really like how Brennan has performed, since coming back from his last suspension, and his attitude seems a lot better! All the people who thought we should get rid of him, don’t have a clue. You don’t let shooters like Brennan go, unless there is no alternative (like Conner and his interfering, dad)! Sorry for such a long message!

I think some of you, who are obviously very Judfemental, even though you don’t know many of the actual facts, need to get a Life. It isn’t like you are Saints! And if you want to take you KU stuff down, please do so, because we don’t want ‘fair weather fans’, anyway! Quitters! Probably in your everyday Life, too! You live your Lives through these kids (and they are, still kids), because most of you couldn’t play a lick! Seriously!
