Nino passed away a couple of years ago. Played for the Jayhawks in the 1970s after taking Salina Central to a state title. Once he got to KU he couldn’t adapt to Ted Owens’ system. That (and poor shooting) put him on the bench behind guys who eventually went to a Final Four. Samuel transferred to Marymount College, a former girls school in Salina that had just gone coed. As I recall, it was a power on the NAIA level for a few years. Marymount closed in the late 1980s. @Texas-Hawk-10 Yes, progress in this area is clear Keep fighting Do not give up KU needs to start the game fast. We have seen in time and time again this season that KU gets behind big time in Q1 and Q2. It is challenging to come back from such large deficits.

Is CB quick enough to stay with Lillard?

@rockchalkjayhawk Seems like the easy and obvious choice. But I would maybe wait and see what happens with the Cardinals the next 2 weeks… Have to imagine they go full on fire sale if they are 2-6. That defense is full of talent on good contracts. Budda Baker, Isaiah Simmons, JJ Watt, Markus Golden, and Byron Murphy are all guys I’d be happy to have on our roster.

No disrespect to the likes of Rogers, Brady etc, today’s game between Bills and Chiefs will feature top QBs in the league this year. We know what happened when these teams faced each other last year in the playoffs. Bills have a loaded roster on both sides and are dominating their opponents. Who will come out on top today?

On the Offense, I am looking at Sky M to have greater contribution tonight. On D, I am counting on George K to have his first sack.

It is Brady versus Mahomes this week on primetime Sun night. Both are coming from a loss. Who will come out on top?
