As much as I would’ve enjoyed the Dukies getting beat and as badly as Grayson just needs his a** kicked(despite being a pretty good player), i’m very content with us in the polls right here. just been to the office for 2 hrs and i’m already tired/embarrassed from all the comments(crap) from the Marsha lovers here. Mason’s list (so far) include the Big XII player of the year, Bleacher Report National POY , USA/The Sporting News both have him on the first team All-American. Its great that everyone is acknowledging what we’ve been seeing for a long time! It’s going to be even sweeter watching him play 9 more games!

while surfing last night, my son requested we leave it on the start of the Timberwolves game and noticed we had 2 KU players starting! Wiggins and Rush was pretty a awesome sight. I remember when they left, I had the anxiety of what was to come for the next year for KU. As usual, the roster was filled again and more memories. did anyone else catch our buddy Fran’s remarks about LL last night during the WV/Oklahoma game? I replayed it and at the 5:54 mark an Okie gets fouled and he said that it reminded him of LL by the way he fell. he said that ll looks like a 12 year NBA player who has all the tricks. would someone explain to me that it was meant to be positive, cause I certainly didn’t see it that way. Has anyone else noticed that coach Self has been sitting for longer periods at a time during games? Since I recently endured similar problems, I wonder if he has a corn on his foot. Makes you wonder.

@kjayhawks yes, we all want to win every game. but we need to do our part to accomplish that. just for what ifs, if we were playing wvu last night, it would have been ugly. i don’t see anything wrong with us expecting the best from our guys. they will have bad plays and bad days, but that’s why its a team sport to help compensate with that.

@BShark just as a reference, watched a Coach Marsha game(cup cake opponent) and with 10 min left Schlockers were up 15 and Coach called a timeout and chewed butt because the team was playing soft. gotta play smart and tough for 40 to win, especially with the target that we have on our back.

with all the hype for this one, I bit the bullet and upgraded my cox channels to include this game for tonight. not that I mind the guys on the radio, but i’ve just got to see the squids reactions tonight while we are thumping them!

@nuleafjhawk I hear you, but I most definitely enjoy this time of year. This past week was awesome with all the great games being played. It seemed like March to me which in turn led me to think of things to come. Given our talent(plus future talent), i’m very optimistic about our potential this year. After watching some of the games, I think we should feel very fortunate with our roster and coaches.

@approxinfinity no excuse for the ft average. practice/mental-my son had better average than this when he would practice shooting blindfolded, just repetition and form- he would shoot 65% to 70%

#1 , 3 or 25 they are going to be gunning for us and Coach. I say we go in #1 with them knowing who and what we are and finish the regular season like we are capable of! Coming in the back door with our jerseys covered and being #3 doesn’t do anything for me, we are KU and we just need to go in andkick some stoolwater behinds!
