@JoJoAndMe Dad was a Bell System guy and ATT borrowed him from Illinois Bell for an engineering project when I was in grade school. Back to Illinois in 7th grade and ended up going to KU, so I'm not really a NY guy! Although the Mets and Yankees were my first baseball loves and my first game was in OLD Yankee stadium.

I took my 12-year-old son to "old" Yankee Stadium before they tore it down. He wore his Royals jersey. It was a typical NY experience. The stadium smelled and as we sat down in our seats, the 7-year-old sitting behind us yelled, "The Royals SUCK." (Welcome to New York)

@JoJoAndMe gosh , I wonder how many other stadiums fans say those kind of things ? Zero I'm sure lol , more likely fans bases say something more like Well good evening hope your doing well. Also say I must say I absolutely love your team color of your uni's lol

@ROCKCHALK2025 Actually . . . I've been to many different stadiums and sat among opposing fans. I remember the OU fans were very welcoming. Not Nebraska. Usually my family and I get some kind of welcoming greeting for coming from so far away. Ole Miss and Clemson fans were great.
I think you missed the fact that the "Royals Suck" greeting came from a seven-year-old there with his father who offered no apology. I'd rather be just about anywhere than New York. -
