Sad story from Michigan St.
-
Their star player Cassius Winston lost his brother when he was hit by an Amtrak over the weekend.

Just brutal man. I just read Cassius’s post that he put on Instagram and got a little choked up. Amazing he had the strength to play in a game last night. As someone who has dealt with this in my own family it hits close.
Just another example of why people should always be kind to one another. You have no clue what someone else might be going through in there everyday life.
-
@Woodrow As a Badger fan too, it’s hitting close with the saga of their assistant coach Howard Moore.
-
Saw some absolutely horrible things posted online from Rutgers and Louisville fans. Won’t repeat them here but makes one lose a little faith in humanity.
My heart goes out to the kid.
-
@BShark Seriously? Again, don’t post it, but what do they have to do with this story?
-
@wissox Some people are just bad I guess. I didn’t go out of my way to find it unfortunately. I noticed them when viewing a post on instagram about the story and they were near the top of the comments because they had a bunch of replies (mostly calling them terrible of course).
-
@BShark Not sure when you came of age in this world but Steve Kerr’s dad was assassinated by the PLO in 1985 or so. When Steve played against ASU their fans were chanting PLO at him during pregame shootaround. Worst I’ve ever seen.
-
@wissox antlers
-
Are we going to argue about jerkiest fans? Making fun of someone’s deceased dad is something I don’t ever remember the antlers doing, but I guess I wouldn’t put it past them.
-
@wissox no mom Tom to Thomas Robinson
-
Lotta jerks out there.
-
@wissox I’m not arguing! So many ️Less people!
-
You’re right. Trying not to be one right now as I watch Iowa. (hate them!)
-
Announcer sounds surprised that Depaul is doing well with Charlie Moore on the bench. Apparently he never watched KU play last year.
-
@wissox I was excited for Charlie, I watch a couple of late night Cal games and thought he had a chance to start, at least early in the season for us. Hard to find your flow only playing a few minutes here or there but Dotson is most likely the better player.
-
@kjayhawks Since I cheer for Chicago guys, I too was excited for him. I’d seen him play in HS and he looked really good when I saw him. But wow, he let the whole Windy City down last year!
