@approxinfinity It is a little small, and we kind of like more garage space, plus there isn’t enough space for my books. Hope the guy selling is trying to move up to something a little classier for a Jayhawk fan.

@KUSTEVE Yeah, but it’s close enough to feel the Kansas breeze. Close to good entertainment, shopping and most importantly - tattoo parlors.

Speaking of Mizzourah, anyone read about that Duckboat disaster? What a tragedy. I’ve done that ride before, and thought at the time it was very confining when you get in that boat. The sides are really high, so I can see why they couldn’t get out.

@KUSTEVE Ya my wife went on it several years ago and said it seemed pretty shady back then. I just can’t believe they had no idea weather was coming in, Ik storms brew up quick here in the Midwest but wasn’t that the same storm that blew thru Topeka? Prayers to all effected by it.

@kjayhawks The boat design was different from when I went on it ( 25 years ago ). Back then, they didn’t have the windows on the side of the boat- it was open air, but the dang rails were so high, you only had about 2 feet to view out. It was hot as hell the day I went, and my 4 year old son couldn’t even see out of the boat. I left thinking what a waste of money and time…

Actually, we spent a little time there this weekend! Had some good grub at Stone Canyon and walked across the street for some serious mini-golf. Nice little place. For Missouri.
