I don’t think you will see them drop that much - -have had some really good recruiting - and some really good returning players. -I mean it would only be natural to slip a little with losing who we are losing we have 8 seniors but still I feel pretty damn good with what we got coming back. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I replied earlier but my post is not showing, oh well…
I said that programs like the UConn women’s basketball loses 2 or 3 All American year in and year out and continues to win big and it has set the standard for continued excellence for a program. Hopefully KU can do something similar and become a top 10 fixture moving forward; the new upgraded facility will certainly help.

Awsome performance by the ladies today - totally over matched Oklahoma 3-1 - -25-18 - - -25-19 - and then we got screwed 3rd set 24-26- - and we took frustrations out in the 4th set 25-11 - kicked their ass - -now it’s SHOW TIME. - -TEXAS this week were now 16-2 ranked 11th but more then likely moving up - against them piss ants # 5 Texas - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Texas takes the second set 27-25 and to be honest we completely gave it away, was up 15-10 and 22-18 could end up being very costly. Couple of severe errors and hits that were just barely out of bounds hurt.

Kansas takes the third set 25-18 and lead 2-1, other than the last few rallies of the second KU has completely dominated thus far. Hopefully they can keep it up because Texas has been shooting themselves in the football with 14, yes 14 service errors.

Texas takes the 4th 25-10 in set that honestly looked like Kansas intentionally threw because they had money on it going to five. Been watching KU VB the last probably five years since they got decent and are on TV from time to time and that’s the worst set I’ve ever seen.

Texas wins the fifth set 17-15, disappointing that we gave away the second set up 4 late and seemed to just not give a shit in the 4th. We had our chances on to the next one as they say.

Well. - - - that sucks. - -What the hell happened in the 4th set. - -I mean damn. - -Our ladies looked really bad in the 4th, I do believe that really took it’s toll in the 5th set. - -Then come out in the 5th set and fall behind 4-1 - -you just can’t do that in a set such as that. - The 4th set we just wet all over ourselves looked horrible.- -We had so much energy for about the first set and a half then you could see it coming.
One thing I saw or at least thought/looked like - The ladies our sets were being set up so deep on the back line. - -Seemed like most the night w were having to attack seem to deep, seemed Aveli was struggling sitting the hitters up awfully deep sets.
Got to regroup gonna be really hard now - -still have to play there , now ties with Baylor - -not good. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

KU wins rather easily 3-0.

Kansas sweeps Baylor 25-14, 25-22, 25-14 was never really in doubt. KU trailed only briefly in the second set. Nice to get another win vs the top 25 and see no hang over from Texas. Here is the current B12 standings:

She was fine before conference play and her overall stats are still pretty good. Rigdon is playing well and hopefully Payne can get her mojo back before long; KU will really need her down the stretch.

Well here we are KU & Oklahoma VB. - -The ladies still seem just not to be on top of their game. This Oklahoma team 5-16 on the year and they come in and take it to us in set 1 ending up 25-22 – then start out in 2nd set jumping out 9-2 – we did come back and won the 2nd set 25-20 - I just don’t get it - -something just not quite there - -I don’t know what’s going on with Kelsie. - -Game tied 1 set apiece. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

The ladies got really really lucky/fortunate tonight. - - -after taking the 3rd set 25-17 - -Oklahoma came out and really just dominated the 4th set even though it ended up 22-25 - -if KU wouldn’t of went on a 9-0 run in the end of the 4th - that set wasn’t as close as the final score, we were down 24-13 and till the run.
Then we eaked out the 5th set 15-13 - -we seem to be just a tad bit off rhythm . I guess Kelsie ended up with like 12 kills but before this match she had back to back single digit games - -we need more out of our ALL AMERICAN. - -Got a really tough match at Iowa State Saturday we better be ready we can’t afford any more losses. The girls have to find some consistency if they want to make another run this year. I’m sure what the problem is, one set they look great, the next they look lost as can be. IMO they should be 21-1 and ranked in the top 3 because the Texas and Santa Clara games we gave away.
