WVU always seems to give us fits although we mostly prevail. Except for last year when they beat us in our house and soured our mood. This years edition takes place in Morgantown so our guard is up and ready for disappointment. DP is the big question mark for today. Seems like we're now getting him for the better part of a game, except for the part when it matters most, ie the end of games.
WVU has zero really good wins, of course maybe we don't have any either. They beat Cincy the other day to get to 1-1 in conference. 1 win against Big East doormat Pittsburgh is their only major conference win.
Of course as Darryn plays more there's a narrative that we play better when he's on the end of the bench. Melvin C seems to do his damage when it's needed. I'm not smart enough to know if he's hurting the team when DP is playing too, or just making things happen so DP can shine, but a double headed monster of him and DP scoring a lot would really make us formidable.
I do think we pull out a nail biter today 70-68.
