Is Self breaking an embargo, or finally learning to recruit the NBA style forward position, or did the adidas conveyor produce him, or was it a random bit of luck?

A bit of luck I think after Ayton choose Arizona. Preston jumped to KU pretty much after that. Recruiting him for a long time payed off

Academic concerns likely helped too. I still don’t understand how he is eligible. Oak Hill miracle I guess.
