IF YOU'VE EVER PLAYED BASKETBALL, THIS IS ON YOUR MIND?

  • @wrwlumpy That was a sweet shot. KU to the Final Four!

PS. never played basketball beyond the totally not real games my friends had in the drive ways

  • It simply proves what we already know about Frank Mason: He is a PTP’er. He’s got the nerves and the cojones to make big time plays. He’s a veteran now. But we saw his gritty big-time plays even in November of his frosh year, when he absolutely TOOK it to Duke in Madison Square Garden. As a frosh!

Kids like Mason and Graham are the genius “finds” by Bill Self. They have less expectations on them than the MickeyD’s do, but they likely come with bigger chips on their shoulders–the determination is there, and in Frank Mason it burns intensely

Right on! And isn’t this something we can attempt to do every few years so we have good players coming in at the PG and SG spots right behind Mason and Graham?

There are always some of the gems out there, but they get overlooked by the top because they don’t have “NBA-typical” height. I hate to even think of us going after OAD PGs. What a waste. The last thing we need is our team quarterback green as a traffic light. And by the time we could receive a benefit from his potential, he’ll be gone, exposing that in the league (probably in D-league).
