@Crimsonorblue22 Yep. Don’t know if I mentioned it, but son has been trying for 3 years to get residency permission even though he’s married to an Aussie and they have a 1 1/2 yr old daughter. Well he got it last week. Part of the requirement was being in country for so many consecutive months, 12 I think, and not being a burden on the government. Well he’s been in school paying non-resident tuition and they haven’t been out of the country since they were here spring 2014. But it’s only good for 5 years and then he has to re-apply. So as soon as they got the letter they made airline reservations and will be here from Nov 9 to Jan 3. We plan on sending them home with one really spoiled 2 yr old.
