@wissoxfan83 Can’t remember, think it was when Gordon got hurt, but they brought Paulo up and he flat played his butt off. After 9 years in the minors you know he was hungry. Think the highlite was this in front of his family.

@wissoxfan83 Like I said. That was a Greg Maddox strike. Umps always gave him that pitch if he hit the catchers glove without the catcher having to move. Used to drive me nuts when the Cubs played Atlanta and he’d get those calls.

@Crimsonorblue22 Yeah it’s waaaah or whatever. An umpire decides to end a game with a hitter who has hit two homers tonight standing at the plate with the bat on his shoulders. There was no way it was a strike and that guy has been making calls like that all night. Let the players decide the game we like to say!
