WHITE SOX vs Royels Game 2
-
@wissoxfan83 Can’t remember, think it was when Gordon got hurt, but they brought Paulo up and he flat played his butt off. After 9 years in the minors you know he was hungry. Think the highlite was this in front of his family.

-
@brooksmd 'cept I like rios!!
-
@brooksmd that was awesome!!!
-
@wissoxfan83 I call Herrera Tabasco.
You gettin any weather over there? Storm rolling and and temp falling. Down to 85 with T & L. Our big kid is ready to climb in my lap.
-
@brooksmd Hollands been shaky!!
-
@wissoxfan83 Looks like it’s headed straight south so you shouldn’t be bothered. Largest chunk is over Slidell and we just getting the edge of it.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 What happened to the old fart? He work too hard today?
-
Pretty pitch for first SO.
-
@brooksmd he always does! Humidity was bad here and worse in kc.
-
Here we go!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Swish, 2 outs.
-
This is the dominating Holland we like to see.
-
@brooksmd one more!! Plse!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 holland the man!!!
-
Inside letter high fastball ought to do it.
-
Well that one will work too.
-
How is a pitch 6 inches off the ground and 3 inches off the plate a strike? That home ump has been stretching the strike zone all night.
-
@brooksmd tmrw 1:10 start!!! I’m driving, w/rio, 2 hrs away, to my folks to c bro and Fam. Last time I had rio in car-just to the vet, he (puke). I’m going down and back. We’ll watch game so I’ll check in. Let’s finish this! Twins lose?
-
@wissoxfan83 waaaaaaaah??
-
Looked like the ump was pretty generous on that last strike. That was a Greg Maddox strike.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Losing 13-4 in the 7th.
-
@brooksmd hush!
-
@wissoxfan83 Like I said. That was a Greg Maddox strike. Umps always gave him that pitch if he hit the catchers glove without the catcher having to move. Used to drive me nuts when the Cubs played Atlanta and he’d get those calls.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Yeah it’s waaaah or whatever. An umpire decides to end a game with a hitter who has hit two homers tonight standing at the plate with the bat on his shoulders. There was no way it was a strike and that guy has been making calls like that all night. Let the players decide the game we like to say!
-
@brooksmd Reminded me of the Eric Gregg game where he got someone on the Marlins 15 K’s in a playoff game!
-
@wissoxfan83 They also say if the ump is consistent then you need to be prepared.
-
@brooksmd The umps an idiot!! Good game, maybe I’ll hang around tomorrow! Stay cool!

@globaljaybird Hey, thanks for that link. When tragedies like that happen in life, you have to believe in a purpose of reason. Whether it’s your religion, your family, or your occupation, or in this case a little boy’s legacy to give life to others, something tangent & real must make you strive to be a better person. Many fail this test & live on in grief, remorse, & anger forever, often succumbing to alcohol or drug abuse. That facebook post was a remarkable eulogy & tribute, & one directly from the core of that gentleman’s heart. My hope is that Kaiser’s family, their friends, & especially the young man who swung the bat can eventually discover the gift of this perspective, because without it, the road to recovery & healing will be a lonesome & torturous journey that we all face over & again throughout our lives. Again thanks so much for the link.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Scarface, “say hello to my little friend!”
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Depending on how church goes I’ll be here.
-
@brooksmd your scarface post referring to holland?
-
@brooksmd think it’s 1.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 No, was watching the movie.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Wow, Clevland 17, Minn 4. Final Toronto making a move to take #1 spot from Yanks in the East. Only 2.5 back of the Yanks. Really don’t want to face Toronto in post season.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Yeah, 1:10
-
