Heartbraking news from Liberal, Kansas

Sadly the precious little 9 year old bat boy, Kaiser Carlile, who was struck in the head by a bat, has passed away from his injury. Please try to remember his remaining loved ones, in your prayers. Though we may never assimilate or comprehend the depth of their devastation & despair. we can certainly request Heaven’s Angels to hold him close in their embrace. It would be not only very compassionate & considerate for MLB to initiate a moment of silence before all forthcoming games, but IMO, quite appropriate & prudent as well. This little boy simply adored the game…

When I was 9 years old, one of my favorite things to do was to go watch the Bee Jays. Tragic loss.
