@jaybate-1.0 I don’t know which board rats you’re referring to–maybe I’m one of them–but I don’t consider that someone is complaining just because he/she expresses an opinion about how he/she values national championships more than conference championships. Or expresses an opinion that KU would have more success playing one way instead of another.

@Wigs2 How does losing a Big 12 Championship help us win a National Championship? Will having a higher seed and being put in the Western Bracket allow us a better chance? What would your plan be? Every year, each of us on this site want a National Championship. Will it automatically happen if we lose the Conference. It is kind of a special streak. Do we need to change Shoe company’s? Get someone other than Self who will listen to the fans?

I’m not sure Wigs is saying it’ll help to lose the conference championship. I, like he, and HEM to name a few would trade all of these conference championships for a few more rings, that’s all.

@wissoxfan83 It goes without saying that all of us want a National Championship. Why not just go ahead and win the league while we’re at it. Losing does not equal winning. I believe we won the Big 12 the year we won the NC.
