This is probably the better of our two chances left to become bowl eligible.
Beating the defending Pop Tarts Bowl champion is always a big deal of course. So tomorrow we’ve got our work cut out for us. They’re good enough to have beaten KState which of course we weren’t. But they’re also capable of losing to Cincy at Cincy which of course, we did too, but barely. They trounced Arizona, which we didn’t.
So what does it all mean? Probably another close loss putting this season out of its misery unless we can surprise much tougher Utah next week.
Reasons for hope is a layoff of 2 weeks, but ISU has the same. Lance has their number is another reason for hope. But sometimes those streaks end.
I’m gonna miss watching Jalon Daniels. He’s got some detractors here and some frustrating habits, like fumbling at really bad times, but his 21 TD’s and only 3 INTs is an impressive stat. Hopefully he gives us another good moment tomorrow and that the D holds.

ISU is missing 4 starting DBs to injury. JD should have a great game.
