I love that after this comment we went on to the final 4 playing 4 guards and made 13 three’s to dukes 7.
We shot 36 and they shot 29….Svi had a double double and did great against Bagley
We go to the final 4 and start the game looking for those “easy baskets” through Dok and get absolutely trounced
We shot 21 threes and made 7 meanwhile nova shot 40 and made 18……
When we beat nova in 2022 we started the game with an ochai 3 and made 13 (they also made 13)
Shooting the 3 isn’t fools gold. Thinking how Bill does is what gets you with the tough losses and roster construction he’s had

Self winning the title in 2022 was fools gold and he shouldnt be coaching Kansas any more.

@kjayhawks i dont think winning the title is ever fools gold. Too many things have to go right. Not just the tournament run. Good roster construction isnt easy, even if we pretend it is. And the players that lead us to victory, with the exception of Remy, developed under Self.

@approxinfinity either way that’s not how things are done in college anymore we need to get with the times after we go home first weekend again. Either give him the option to retire or fire his candy ass

kjayhayhawks. Sounds like you’d have been satisfied to not win in 2022 if Self got fired/retired/quit because of it. I’m not sure if I’ve read anything so unbelievable on these pages.
