Hearing there was a fly by during the hand shake line. Not sure if coach meant tang or their team. Or maybe both. Self said this during post game. Guessing it was just Tang. I’m sure tang will mention this!

The key for this team is valuing the basketball and guarding at a high level. Last night offense looked solid even with us missing a ton of bunnies. We took care of the ball ( 6 turnovers) and made shots a D1 basketball team should make from distance (6/13 from 3). Defense was good for most of the second half, they added some late 3s and easy points again the scrubs, I think we held them to 12 points for the first 11 minutes of the second half before we got a little less aggressive with a 28 point lead.

Turns out this team can be pretty good with a healthy McCulla’ and Timby knocking down 3’s. Just have to hope that keeps up (and hope Bill has a plan to adapt the defense for teams that can expose Hunter’s slow recovery on screens).
