Loved watching his Princeton ball-control offense frustrate the hell out of their more talented opponents…except once.
Got to see his Tigers play KU at AFH just before Christmas in '99. We had much the superior team that year, with Gooden, Collison, Hinrich and company.

Slight correction: Carril had left for the NBA by the time of that 1999 game. His successor was still using that same style of offense though.
