@KUSTEVE Here’s to holding if for a while!
-
Ken Pomeroy has KU as #1 and OU as #4. Sagarin has OU and KU as #1 and #2 but it does not include Saturday’s games.
-
@JayHawkFanDon’t really matter who nu 1 is right now, I mean sure it’s great, and I’m definitely fine with it, but no matter if we are nu1, or 5 or 10 during the season then so be it, what I want to see is nu 1 at THE END of the season and hoisting the trophy, like our chances ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
Being #1 is not that important…but being close is…especially at the end of the season…we want to earn a #1 seed come tournament time. So hanging around close to #1 is important. Hopefully we should be able to do that.
-
@Hawk8086 It’s been since 2011 since we’ve been number 1- it’s ok to relish the moment. The tournament isn’t going to start for several months.
-
@KUSTEVE Did not realize it was that long ago. Also, the longer we are #1, the more room there is to slip down and still get a #1 seed…don’t get me wrong…I’ll take it.
-
2011 was a little misleading if I remember correctly we lost the very next day to Kstate and never gained it back.
-
Our record is not good in these situations, and OU can attack from anywhere on the court. Will be a high-flying game, but one we should win if we play anywhere near our talent level. All top 10+ teams are going to lose at least 2-3+ more games this year, so right now, #1 schmumber-one. Rock Chalk!
