Interesting that KU is ranked #2 in the AP poll, yet just #7 in the coaches poll.
What do the coaches know that the AP doesn’t?

Nothing. Most coaches don’t even vote and have assistants take care of it. The basketball writers do a much better job.

We actually dropped a place in the coach’s poll after winning both our games last week. Hmmm

i think the disparity was due to KU only dropping a few places in the AP poll after losing to Mich St but in the Coaches Poll they dropped to the bottom of the top 10?
