velvet is soft. Cotton is too. whipped cream is soft, so is butter

  • And guess what?

Perry is soft. There I said it. Not like it hasnt been said before.

Oh, and one more thing, ok two.

Jamari can’t rebound to save his life.

Im glad we won a hard fought game against Harvard.

    Rock Chalk!

  • @Lulufulu guess you would rather Perry would have left?

  • @Lulufulu Right now Perry has a whole lotta company. Like everybody not named Frank Mason.

  • Banned

    @Lulufulu

Perry is a in the flow kind of player as most of the KU players are. Not sure why? Yet as we have seen this year when KU forces the pace and plays to the flow of their game the offense numbers are crazy. Yet when KU is forced to grind out a high/low offense they struggle.

I appreciate that Coach is letting the boys shoot the three, yet I would love for him start scheming for the 3 land shot. I feel Perry and the bigs play way better when KU is dropping bombs from the outside.

  • @Crimsonorblue22 NO. I would rather Perry show some emotion, crank up his game a couple notches and quit being soft!

  • @Lulufulu You and coach Self. Did you catch the moment in the second half after a missed layup and no attempt at a rebound when Self yelled at Perry, “Come on! Show some emotion! One time!” I think at this point you both are dreaming if you think it will happen. Just not who he is. Doesn’t make him a bad player but might keep him from being a great one.

  • @Lulufulu

I’ve noticed Perry is often soft before conference play. He will play tougher in conference play and hopefully in March. This is his last dance in D1… he better bring his best game when it really counts.

I’ve just never understood how players can play soft one game, hard in another. What happened to egos? Don’t these guys hate to lose or get dealt on during the game?

Sometimes I think some of our guys just don’t carry enough self pride.

  • @drgnslayr Our guards are full of it. Frank, Devonte’ , Wayne. Those guys have IT. Bragg and Diallo have IT. They just havent been given a chance to prove it yet.

I like Perry, I really do. He is a good player and he will leave KU as statistically one of the best. But holy cow!! I mean come on! Come on!
