2026 Recruiting

He's a high major prospect from the looks of the video but not a fit at KU. If we are comparing what we currently have (Flory/Tiller) he's just about the opposite of them. I want our future frontcourts to look like what we are doing now (Athletic bigs) because it works.
Has really good footwork for a 7-footer which isn't surprising playing overseas. Range out to 3-point line with good looking form. Some passing skills & some back to basket skill (hook shot and good footwork). Slim frame doesn't look over 220 currently. Average athlete for his size & just not sure what he's facing over there. He's taller than most players in the videos.
If we assume Flory goes Pro or doesn't return, KU is able to retain Tiller then it's important to find a fit next to Tiller & this isn't that.
I find do find this news foreshadowing what the staff might be after in the HS ranks/Euro/Portal. Getting one of Flory/Tiller back is probably the most important to retain. They have Adkins signed but given his drop in the rankings/recent eval being negative lends me to believe he's not a likely big contributor next season. I think Self is going to need to add two bigs to the roster for next year assuming one of the mentioned above does come back.

Did any hear Hawk talk last week when Hanni asked Coach about recruiting? Coach talked about a shooting drill that a recruit shot the highest score ever! Can’t remember his name though. Anyone?
