Cleveland vs 2015 AL Central Division Champion Kansas City Royals
-
Sounds pretty good don’t it? Royals stepped up last nite on the hill and at the plate to wrap up the Central Division Championship by beating the Mariners and taking advantage of a loss by the Twins. Cueto had a good outing and the bullpen closed it out for him. After a bit of lethargic hitting, the bats came alive late and put the game out of reach. Don’t know what to expect tonite as there may still be those suffering from the celebration. But the goal now is to keep Toronto behind us and get that home field advantage in the AL playoffs. Volquez goes for the Royals and Carrasco for Cleveland.

@Crimsonorblue22 Damn, don’t know if I care for the starters sitting tonite. Home field advantage is big and Toronto too close.
-
@brooksmd pregame said just 1 night off, subs deserve it too.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 But we only have a 2 game advantage right now. I figure magic # is 9 for home field.
-
@brooksmd I know
-
@Crimsonorblue22 And like they said Cle still has a chance for a wc so they ain’t gonna lay down.
-
@brooksmd wish he would play gore!
-
I like leading off
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Be back in a bit. Wife home and having some pizza.
-
@brooksmd just chilln
-
-
@brooksmd did u choke on your pizza?
-
@Crimsonorblue22 No, but the R’s did. Wasn’t anything to talk about except call Ned a bonehead for sitting the starters. Hope he proves me wrong and I have to apologize.
-
@brooksmd start now!
-
@brooksmd Havent been paying close attention to MLB, just what I see on here and ESPN. Im happy that the Royals are contenders again this year. Are they better than last year? They must be at least equal to that in some way since they won their division. How does everyone think they will do in the post season? Could they make another World Series run?
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Nothing like clinching division and then losing another game to Toronto for home field advantage in a 1 hit shutout loss. They need that advantage as they haven’t been a good road team the past month or so. He’s still a bonehead.
@Lulufulu At one point they were a better team but the past month or so the pitching and hitting has gone south. Especially the pitching. Right now I don’t give them a snowball’s chance of making it to the WS because of Toronto. They are on the verge of losing home field advantage to Toronto and only lead them by 1 game. I think Ned intentionally losing the game last night to rest the starters after winning the division was stupid. He could’ve rested them after they had either clinched or lost home field advantage. But that’s my opinion.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Now he’s a bigger bonehead.
-
@brooksmd you were right!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 I take no joy in your response.
-
@brooksmd I know! How was your day?
