I’m hearing that Kenneth Walker recent had a very good visit to KC. They are able to offer him as early as Monday afternoon. Would a huge get and then I think you could keep your first rounds picks.

@rockchalkjayhawk To me CB is a position you want to be solid at but I don’t think you want to spend a lot of money on that position. I feel like lot of great at CBs got paid and were on shitty teams because of that payment. Guys like Rod Woodson, Champ Bailey and Darelle Revis played
Most of their careers for shit teams collecting a big check.

Agree. Front seven is more important you just can't be terrible on the back end

My guess is that Walker is just too expensive for KC. He's the top RB on the market i think? Be nice to have him for sure! guessing they won't be able to afford any big name signings. But, free agency is always a surprise.

Right time to let him go. They have definitely overpaid some of "their guys" before so I was rather happy to see it.

Chiefs are likely the leading team for Travis Ettienne. Would be a great fit.

Pardon the slightly off topic Chiefs discussion...but looks like the Raiders just dealt Maxx Crosby to the Ravens for a few first round picks. crazy. At least he's out of the AFC West.

And i see that RB Joe Mixon was released. If he's healthy, i'd love to see him as a Chief.
Seems like there's a mystery behind his injuries though (sound familiar?).

@mayjay I would prefer him over Walker due to fit

He's not healthy from what I've read.

Yea, after I posted I did a bit more digging. Sounds like Mixon may not play in 2026, and maybe ever.
Maybe not a good choice, but I’ve always followed him since he’s from my neck of the woods. Oh well. I would very much like the Chiefs to find a competent running game somehow. I personally think decent RBs are a dime a dozen, so it can’t be that hard. Very much believe in youth at the RB spot, too. Of course Andy has to decide to run the ball now and again, too…
