@Jayhawk_69 Thanks for the tip! Fellow picker? I enjoy playing The Beatles' Norwegian Wood and putting my left pinky to work, so I'll put Groundhog on my list of songs to learn this year... it looks fun.
-
@DanR I play for fun sometimes. I love belting out a bluegrass or flamenco tune when I have the time but I always have to simplify them or slow them down (a lot!) because I can't keep up with Doc Watson or Pedro Javier Gonzales. Norwegian Wood is a great song but I've never tried playing it before.

Something amazing how a bad loss like yesterday sucks the excitement about figuring seeds and such suddenly disappears.
-
@DanR I do like that song!

I know this is women’s but a huge win on senior night for the ladies 68-59 over #20 Tech. They were on the first 4 out coming into this evening.

Schneider is really going to do just enough to save his job again. The women have been such a disappointment this year. They should not be a bubble team, they should be contending for a Big 12 title with the talent they have on that team especially since the Big 12 isn't that strong right now.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 agreed they really seem to have spent some good NIL money this season. They have just failed to win close games. Believe they have like 8 losses by one or two possessions. He probably gets another chance if they get in.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 They struggled to win close games, that's on coaching.
-
The women fall tonight in KC in second round action to Colorado and that likely ends their bid for the NCAA tournament. They needed to bare minimum win this evening. Will be interesting to see if they accept an NIT bid and if Schneider will be relieved of his duties.

@kjayhawks2.0 He said that he willaccept WBIT bid

He needs to be fired now regardless of what happens in the WNIT because there are zero good reasons why a team with this much talent was the 11 seed.

@Texas-Hawk-10 it is beyond frustrating for me to see how much the athletic department has put into both women’s Basketball and football to see them fail repeatedly. Especially while our bread and butter Men’s basketball struggles. How much of a this is effecting that budget and maybe we should just stick to what we know in Lawrence. Having one national renowned program is better than a dozen mid tier programs imo.

@kjayhawks2.0 Don't care about women's (smaller) basketball. Do agree that we should be All-In on men's basketball and football.
