@rcjhdraft Cincy played their A game for sure. We played like zombies first half and by the time we woke up they were locked in. It felt like one of those teams that could beat anyone if they were more consistent.

Glad DP finished a game so the main story is how we stomped out a top 5 team and not him sitting on the bench

Best half of our season was that second half in my opinion. Great offense and defense.

In terms of the Cincinnati game it’s like Bill always says in a season this long you play 5 games better than you are and 5 games worse than you are. Saturday was one of those 5 games we played much worse than we actually are. Sadly it may have cost us a chance to share this conference. I will say the Fieldhouse was louder at tip than it ever got at any point during the Cincinnati game so hopefully it’s a lesson for the fans as well.

Also shout out to Kohl Rosario for coming in the game cold, playing excellent defense for a possession, and helping force a Houston turnover. That was a key play during a time of momentum shift in the game.

I really hope Kohl sticks around and develops some confidence in his shot. If he does he could be great.

I thought DP played pretty good tonight, he was engaged on both ends for the most part, people always look at points and shots to say how a guy played. That’s only a small portion of what a guy can do to impact a game. We as a team have to figure out how to put a complete game together. First half vs UNC, ISU, UConn and BYU we looked like a team that can make the FF. Add in the second half tonight and Arizona it’s the same story.

Yes much better effort by all on defense, still concerned by our rebounding tho we won the glass 38-33. But yet another game we give up 13 offensive rebounds.
