@Crimsonorblue22 & @brooksmd - FYI Vargas is back on the 15 day DL again & Ventura’s MRI shows fluid build up around the right elbow. Young has been moved to start Sunday, Blanton the next game & Finnegan has been recalled from the minors again. Right now Volquez or Young is about as good as it gets. Luckily everyone else in the division is on a backslide of their own… Them damn Cards are hottern’ little sister & this is a p poor time to be visiting old St Louie. One is all we got a shot at now guys, Maybe some rum & Jobu will wake up the bats Sunday while I’m stuck on that damn tractor or paint brush again !

@brooksmd Now we have 4 straight vs the Brew Crew-2 on the road & 2 at home. June could end up being a killer month playing 11 at home & 16 on the road. We still have Boston, Houston, Oakland & Seattle after Milwaukee. If we’re still in 1st when July gets here I’ll just be shickled titless…the proverbial “way w/words” as @Crimsonorblue22 would say.

@Crimsonorblue22 Nah, one of Dad’s sniglets from the family Scotch/Irish version of Funk & Wagnall’s…Somehow I thought that just might stir the pot… Mondays are always dull with no hoops…cant’ bring myself to watch much of the finals. Can’t stand LB & SF needs another championship like they need another bathhouse… BB later tonight without another rainout. Gotta have something to free my mind from all this damn work. work, work !!!
