KU to play Illinois in football. What's the real motive?

I just read where KU has booked home and home games in 2023 and 2024 with Illinois. Weis indicates they’re doing it because we have a lot of alums in the Chicago area. My guess is that we’re actually doing it to aggrivate Missery U. If that’s the case, then I’m all for it. How great is it that Missery would love to play us in football every year but we’re skipping over them and playing their neighbor to the East?
Hopefully, we’ll be better equipped to play Illinois by the time the game rolls around.

@Jhox Wow. Are we really scheduling 10 years in advance? That is a bit surprising. I didn’t think we scheduled much more than three or four seasons out.
