We get Mr pants on Backwards to start

  • Different start this year we get a break instead of rolling right into the teeth of our Schedule. We get Coach pants on backwards on November 3rd.

We get to play Green Bay on Nov 3rd and Coach Doug Gottlieb.-- he was like 4-18 in his 1st year, and pretty controversial .-- Not only was he Coaching Green Bay but he refused to give up his 5 day Radio show he had also-- splitting his time. Green Bay fans were questioning his loyality between the Team and his show.

I just remembe when they came to the phog and the crowd started Chanting " Pants on Backwards- – -Pants on Backwards lol and he stood in the middle of team huddle before the game started and fixed his pants – Holy smokes lol

  • @SlimShaddy54 This makes games that we know the dates for. KU will also travel to Chapel Hill for their return game against UNC on Nov. 14 and will play Duke at MSG on Nov. 18 in the Champions Classic. They will also take part in the Player’s Era Festival in Las Vegas over Thanksgiving week. So far there are 18 teams committed to that tournament and it sounds like it’ll be a pool play format, but not sure how many games each team will play in that one.

Other schools in the Player’s Era Festival include Alabama, Auburn, Creighton, Gonzaga, Houston, Iowa St., Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, Rutgers, San Diego St., St. John’s, St. Joseph’s, Syracuse, and Tennessee. Alabama, Auburn, Gonzaga, Michigan, St. John’s, and Tennessee are all in early top 25 polls so KU probably plays at least 2 of those teams in Vegas.

There’s also going to be a neutral court game against Missouri at T-Mobile as well and a game in Raleigh on Dec. 13 against NC State.

KU’s going to have another loaded non-conference schedule this season like always.

  • @Texas-Hawk-10 Boy Howdy I’d say. Though when has KU eve backed away from a challenging Non Con ? – probably gonna take some licks , but I think I’d rather play that challenging schedule over a schedule full of powder puffs like some do, although some say that drains a team later in the Season all the really hard games early. That’s where you depth needs to come in and get some minutes, give the starting five some breaks ,- That’s why it’s vital we still got plenty of work to do to complete this roster.
