The Real Deal Neal is now top 5 in all time rush yards
-
Devin Neal ran for 137 yards and a Touchdown yesterday. In doing so he now has 2,762 rushing yards passing legends John Riggins, Gale Sayers and Clark Green. June Henley holds the record with 3,841 yards. Pretty good story for a local carving out one of the best careers in jayhawk history as he currently sits 4th on rushing touchdowns list as well. He could be best statistically by the time he leaves town.

How do folks view him as an NFL prospect
-
@kjayhawks enjoy him the next month or so. If I was a betting man I’d bet the bowl is the end for him in a KU uniform

Since RB has been so devalued in recent years, not as highly as he would’ve been 15 years ago. He’s still projected as a 3rd day pick in the 2024 draft.

@AsadZ I’m with @Texas-Hawk-10 RB just isn’t an important position in todays NFL. Would be shocked if he isn’t in a Jayhawk uniform next season especially with NIL nowadays.

Don’t bet on Neal coming back. Like I said, he’s projected to go on day 3 in the 2024 draft so it’s unlikely he’ll be back next season.

The RB position takes a lot of abuse. Short careers. I hope he comes back, but if he can get drafted he should probably go.
-
If Devin goes in the NFL after this Season , good for him hope he does well. - - Not overly concerned about our RB position Hishaw chances are will be back and we have some really good prospects coming in. - - red Martel - - Johnny Thompson -& Stewart should be ble to pick up any slack that is left with the departure of Devin
-
Locklin should be back as well

Before the injury Hishaw looked like a beast and I viewed him as a solid NFL back. He is still very good but not as explosive as prior to injury in my opinion.
