You see Farmer , this is exactly what I’ve been talking about. -The quality of Athlete this Coaching staff is now bringing in to Ku. is just night and day from a decade ago. They do a great job of getting these kids to believe or to buy into what Coach is doing here, and they can be /play a big part of the turnaround.
The overall quality player , more athletic - - higher ranked players - - This as you know is a big get for our team, kid is a Stud. but the names of the teams we beat out for this guy speaks for it’ self to what I’ve been saying. – We locked up against : Arizona State , K/State , Texas , Washington &Iowa St to name a few - -and we came in 1st. - - Love this Staff
Now we have a HUGE ONE coming in for an official visit in Jun from Jun9-11th 4 * Dekyus Brinkley DE , if somehow we could win this Battle would be soo sweet. Must be fairly interested if he is coming on one of his Officials - -Going against more big boys for him Oklahoma , Oregon , Texas , Texas A&M - -we mixing it up more and more with the big boys and thing is these kid are listening. - - WE COMING he would be huge for us – finers crossed

Our 2024 commit QB looking really good, Man I hope we hang onto him. -But Marshall and team mates in the Legacy 7 on 7 out of a field of 32 teams they won it all and Marshall was named MVP - -kid is a stud

I know or so I’ve heard we are sitting in good shape with several top notch players. Would love to be able to persuade DeShawn Warner to join his team mates , Karmara & Gibson. Wonder when we have had 3 players from the same high school come be part of Jay Hawk Nation - -have we ever ? - - These guys coming from Desert Edge. quite the trio.
Couple of Running Backs coming in I believe , would like to get commit from one of them. - -Harry Stewart , which they feel really good about and then one I would really like - -Frankie Arthur - -kid is A STUD , another player a WR but I’m not sure if he is in this weekend or not Farmer do you know - - the Marsh kid - -have hear and read they want him bad , comes out of Mi we are getting quite the link in Michigan have heard they really want him, just things I’ve heard it’s either Marsh or nobody in this class for us.
I can’t believe that we are in such a spot for these guys - - yr,s back they wouldn’t have even said w had made contact from the embarrassment - BUT remember Farmer this was suppose to be one of the things about this staff - - they can’t recruit lol

@jayballer67 we can absolutely get Marsh. The numbers are a little misleading since it’s one more spot at a couple positions (WR, RB, LB, S). I still think 15ish HS plus 10ish portal adds. The LB from Junction is an exception IMO. He’s a take no matter what since he’s just a DUDE. And super versatile.
OL is my biggest concern right now, especially since Joey Baker retired and we just lost a couple targets. Might have to do some heavy lifting in the portal there.

ya I was sorry to hear about Joey today hope whatever it is - -things turn out well. I think what they said we had 2 offensive, I can’t remember but your right we need to really hit it with the O line

Austin Alexander : ( CB ) : KU SMU Ill , Ind , KU , Pur , & Wisc
Harry Stewart : ( RB ) KU , SMU , Bay , Cal , & Mizz
Good to see we going head to head with better Competition. Be interesting to see just how soon they commit.

@jayballer67 I feel really really good about him. Some dudes just want to head home and think things over before pulling the trigger. I know Lance and co tell guys only commit if you’re 100% in. Don’t want any decommits to mess up their plan. Like right now they told all other corners on the board they’re done at CB so they won’t take any other visitors, let alone commits. They’re extremely methodical and organized in recruiting and they stick to it. There’s some wiggle, though. Like they’d take Bogonowski or Marsh and figure out the numbers later but those are rare exceptions.

Dam , with the Alexander commit , KU jumped from 59th in the Nation recruiting to 50 th in the Nation---- we are 9th in Big 12 recruiting right behind those other guys other guys out of Manhattan at 49

Farmer, just got through watching some more film on Stewart, the headline says like another KU player. - -I watched and to me, see what you think - Harry to me reminds me of Daniel HiShaw , got good power, and speed - -little quicker I think then HiShaw , but buddy this kid can take & shake off some hits - - -got some strength – I like him - I like him A LOT.
I’m telling you give these guys another 2-3 years and man - - LOOK OUT - -I’m Serious - -it’s comin , you can see it coming - -LOOK THE HELL OUT
Had to edit my post, beat out some big boys for this kid too. - -Tex A&M - -Michigan , Michigan State , TCU had offered, them on top of Baylor , Cal , & Missouri

One interesting thing that comes up a lot. Recruits families (especially moms) feel very comfortable with this staff. Family atmosphere is definitely a cliche but in this case it’s for real.

Hell ya, with our two latest Verbals , Alexander & Stewart - KU moved from the 59th ranked class in the Nation to- - -44th in the Nation. Big time Gets. Plus they haven’t graded two of our recruits yet out of these 9 commits so should move a little more.
Ok, so Sorry Farmer to keep bothering you but you always in the know , spot on a lot soooo, Hearing another Big weekend coming this weekend , who you been hearing coming in or how many they looking at this weekend ? -One thin I’m picking up on also beside FAMILY like you mentioned the staff is really talking up the renovations of Booth Stadium, got to believe they have seen renderings , man I hope things go wl with that.
Not sure about you Farmer ut I’m feeling better about a shot at Boganowski - still tweeting out a lot of KU things - would be nice to land him. Jumpin Gee Hossie Toads - -Lot’s of smoke now about Jalen Todd & KU- -CB another kid out of Michigan, like a poster said this Michigan pipe line is REAL… - -A Lot of Analysts changing their predictions and taking CB’S from Iowa To CB’S for KU. - this one would be the 14th highest recruit for KU- -even Iowa Insiders changing their picks to KU.
If he indeed lands here we are talking some serious Defensive Backfield .- I guess he wanted to commit this weekend but his parents wanted him to take his visit to Iowa still so we shall see. -I dunno my friend - -MERCY this is getting serious lol. - -Another recruit who had big time offers. - Auburn , Florida , Michigan , Michigan St , Minnesota , Tennessee - keeping my fingers crossed, what have you heard ?

They finally got Stewart &Utley graded - -kicked KU up from 49th Nationally to 40th & 3rd in the Big 12
