I’ll say it again like I did earlier. I got a feeling both # 1’s go down tonight. - -ONE DOWN - - ONE TO GO

Okay so I very easily could be way off and totally , totally wrong on this but I really don’t understand WHY these announcers had to re-hash things that everyone already knows for sure by now and that’s Brandon Miller involvement with the Murder that happened. -Just don’t feel that needs to be brought up again at this time.
I mean everyone if they are alive knows the details on this - -no charges are brought on Miller he is considered a witness - -let the kid play, it will all come out in the end if it’s different- it will work it’self out just didn’t think it needed to be brought up AGAIN right now
Shout that stuff from the roof tops. Only reason that kid didn’t face any repercussions is because he’s the best player on a high profile team. So glad Alabama went down. Only team I was actively rooting against other than mizzou. That situation was handled so poorly by that program that it should be the only thing people talk about when Alabama basketball is mentioned. From the multiple players involved to the coaches nonchalant attempt to blow past it as if it wasn’t a big deal.

thats just sad
-
Sad we have to get pleasure out of someone losing but bye bye Bama. I never really had anything against Bama basketball except they were SEC. But their handling of the Miller situation was horrible, even if technically they did nothing wrong, the optics of it was as low as I’ve ever seen a team go. Good riddance, hope your sorry team fades into obscurity playing in front of 5000 fans for now and eternity.
-
Gonna lose the remaining number 1s tonite?
-
Now let’s get Houston the hell out and we be good
-
1 down. 1 to go
-
@jayballer67 sad for me? Or like the whole situation is sad? I agree the whole situation is sad. But Alabama sure didn’t act like it was.
-
Bury these fricken Cougars - - -GO CANES - -GO SCREW HOUSTON

Alabama was the best team in their half of the bracket by far. Worst case now they face a 5 seed to get into the championship game.

i gt it, i get it ya it’s a bad situation I understand but logically there is no way they didn’t charge him just because he was the star player for Alabama - -that is just silly. - there is no dam way the reason they didn;'t charge him - - come on
-
Bama is not comfortable with everything that went on tonight
-
@BShark Gotcha. I’m starting to like the Big12’s chance for a 3-peat with Texas better and better.
-
@jayballer67 there is definitely a way that happened. Shit like that happens all the time. I mean you don’t believe Oswald shot JFK right? Lol

Have you ever been to Alabama? Met any law enforcement from the area? Aware of how big of a presence the Alabama athletics program has in the community? It was most definitely a factor. And I don’t even think the kid should go to jail. But probably shouldn’t have been playing in the biggest basketball tournament in college athletics. The Alabama PROGRAM is who I’m most upset with. More than any cop.

Nick Saban said Oats did the wrong thing.

Agree the Program is BS - -the only thing I was saying just don’t think it needed to be mentioned again for the most part people know about the situation. - But for sur e Nate Oats handled it piss poorly
-
@wissox I actually think the Cats have a better shot at that than UT

of getting knocked out ?
-
@jayballer67 no
-
Jim Larranaga looking good for back to back Elite 8’s.
Houston’s weak schedule being exposed as a fraudulent 1 seed.
Go Princeton Tigers! There wouldn’t be one American other than the team they’re playing cheering against Princeton should they continue this run.
The people who get paid with big ratings for the NCAA tournament are maybe getting a little nervous. While it’s fun to see the underdogs, they’re almost never ratings powerhouses because the casual observer will tune in for a blue blood FF like last year but won’t tune in as much for FAU or SD State, or Princeton, or Xavier or even Kstate. Gonzaga will draw eyeballs but they have a tough draw tomorrow.
@cragarhawk The possibility of a KState final is certainly possible at this point.
I’m still amazed at that no defense KSU-MSU game.
John Higgins I just saw reffing a sweet 16 game it looked like.
-
Texas or Xavier tonight ?
-
Texas. Hate Xavier.
Svi started for Charlotte tonight but no Oubre
-
@wissox I actually don’t mind it with KSU. Duke was never Duke without UNC. And vise versa… the basketball world simply can’t handle a KU that has had to deal with a Mancraptown champion. Or maybe even Final 4. That said… I’m low key on the Blue Jay bandwagon as my daughter is currently 2/3 of the way to getting her Doctorate there

Thinking Texas has a shot. Yet U Conn looking pretty good
-
The league is looking decent. Idk if UT wins but they need to. Without that? The most dominant league in the last whatever years starts looking pretty lackluster. You bout gotta get multiple teams in the last weekend. And I dont really buy into the “crapshoot” argument on that
-
Can both teams lose? Really dislike both.

The tournament has been very chaotic which is fitting for this year.
And idk…Big 12 has multiple champions in a row and had the best team in the country in 2020. I don’t think it’s a huge indictment if neither team makes the FF but I suspect KSU will at the very least. Texas has a much harder go of it.
-
@benshawks08 kinda like Weiss getting away with his crap, izzo, etc. I could go on.
-
First Elite Eight without a 1 seed. I knew the top was soft but good lord
-
@BShark I see your point. But also… talking heads all on the 12 band wagon this year saying best overall league in maybe the last 20 years. Tough to get there with ACC tourney success as soon as last year without getting at least 1 if not 2 to the final weekend imo
-
SDSU, Miami, U Conn look very good, throw in Texas. Tonight’s game were a step above, besides U Conn.
-

I think the Big 12 was probably the toughest league but that was…a bit overblown.
The Big East of all conferences is looking amazing so far. They could get 3 into the EE.

You know my thoughts on UConn. Top 3 roster. UCLA was incredible and if healthy I feel would have been right there but injuries sank them.
-
@BShark so how I look at it if that transpired? They were actually probably the better league. Imo
-
@BShark how does he get recruits?

The non-conference games to start the season matter as well. The tournament is a poor judge due to its nature, which massively benefited us last year as I don’t think it was one of Self’s top 5 teams at KU.

How does anyone get recruits?
-
Best in 20 years no but I do think top to bottom the Big 12 was great this year.
-
Big12 gets 2 EE’s and a title appearance or win? Then we’re lookin at it a Lil different. But teams gotta perform when it matters most essentially
