It just makes so much sense for a team like KU to go after dudes in the transfer portal who are Freshman and Sophomores. Get them in with that first transfer under their belt and you can solidify the roster knowing you will keep the majority of those guys 3-4 seasons.
The key for LL and co. is to take a page from Bill Self. “Get old and stay old.” 2023 we should be a pretty old team…
