Just saw it pop up on my ESPN notifications. Great coach and Bill Self wouldn’t be Bill Self without some of the influences of Coach Sutton on him.

Coach Sutton has always been one of our most respected adversaries. Not only with his strong connection and mentoring of Self. But I’ll always remember him running down the sideline in AFH to shake Hinrich’s and Collison’s hand on senior night. RIP in peace coach we’ll miss ya.

I watched on YouTube the part when Sutton went down to congratulate them, was awesome! Roy said if he got a T for it, we would have shot them backwards or something crazy! I can see the good traits Self got from him, many!
