Devonte

Looked good!
-
I hope the Tony P acquisition (2 year 10 mil) doesnt hamper Devonte. Best case, he’s a positive mentor with championship pedigree. If Devonte is on the bench watching Walker play, having Tony P to talk to might not be a bad thing.
Charlotte has stated that Monk will play major minutes as a combo guard this year. I don’t think you pair Kember (say this with Jim Calhoun accent) with Devonte or Tony P.
-
Devonte played well and was very unselfish passing on shots and deferring to other players; he was often open but he did not get the ball and other players kept driving to the hoop and taken poor shoots instead of passing the ball.
-
The announcers gave him high praise! He needed doke or Silvio and he would’ve had a ton of assists. Their big guys sucked! His court vision was spectacular!
-
Looks like Aaron Miles is coaching gs
-
He coaches the Golden State G League team and was made an assistant for the Warriors for the playoffs and has an NBA Title now.
-
@JayHawkFanToo I know
-
Devonté graham! Dropping some sweet dimes!
-
The commentators seemed to really like Devonté, indicated he will be in the League for a long time.
-
Chances are Kemba Walker gets moved by Charlotte at some point, so Devonte may get a chance to start this year after the ASB. Devonte has an opportunity to slot himself in as a fringe starter on a potential playoff team down the line, although I doubt Charlotte goes anywhere this season.
-
Charlotte signed Tony Parker who was apparently driven out od San Antonio by Leonard and is probably itching to prove he still is one of the top PGs in the League. He could be a really good mentor for Graham.
-
@JayHawkFanToo he’s so old and always hurt. DG might mentor him,️
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Tony never played more than 17 mpg in any game I can remember. I don’t know if that was just the Spurs, or whether he couldn’t hold up. He is way past his prime.
-
Parker averaged over 31 mpg for his 17 year career and only in the last 3 years his averGe went below 30 and just under 20 last season because of injuries.
-
I am not sure if you are serious or just kidding. Collison is 2 years older, played just a few mpg in the last few years and yet he was able to mentor several of the younger OKC players. Parker is younger than Collison, a 6 time All Star and has 4 NBA titles and I am sure he would be a great mentor for Devonté.

I think the winky face is a clue…

Bad news! Our man was flown back to Charlotte 'cause an mri showed swelling of his knee. He practiced this am, and they didn’t say anything happened to hurt it. Haven’t heard anymore. anyone else? Frank didn’t play either, what’s up? Been gone.

Graham is gonna be out for awhile.
-
@BShark I read up on those injuries, really varies, hope and pray that dg’s is minor and heals quickly. Do you know why frank didn’t play?
-
Mason is by now a fairly well known commodity to his team and played in the Summer League to shake off the dust and get an early start but the team will not risk injury and, much like other players that already have a spot in the various team’s rotations, he will get now more rest than play. Borderline players will get more play so they can be better evaluated.

@JayHawkFanToo he has a foot injury
