Graham's Statement

Great year on an undermanned team
-
Losing Frank and Devonté have been super tough these last few years. Like when Collison and Hinrich left. Guys that people said couldn’t play here ended up being great players for 4 years. I throw Svi in there too, what a guy coming in at 16 to play D1 ball in a foreign country. These guys just don’t come around that often that stay outta trouble on and off the court and love the university. It’s the hardest thing about being a college fan, seeing these kids come in and leave as men. I’ll love all of our Jayhawks current and former but these types hurt the most.

@kjayhawks losing guys like that is tougher than losing the last game. It’s so much more for them than it can ever be for us.i hate this game for them. I was lucky enough to see all the great come from behind games at AFH the last few years and celebrate the conference championships and hear the senior speeches. They were so much fun!

Devonte Graham, what an outstanding young man! Thank you for all of your hard work, sacrifice and dedication. I truly hope that when the next Kansas Jayhawks basketball team wins a National Championship, they present you with a ring as well, you deserve it!

Graham finished 13th on the KU career scoring list and 5th on the assist list.

Graham was 4-8 from 3 last night. He and Malik did their part to keep us in the game in the second half.
