Looks like Doke has listened to Coach Self. His form, at least in practice, is not perfect but it is night and day compared to the previous.

@Jayballer54Practice is where you learn to play the game and follow the playbook, game time is where you put that knowledge to practical use. Silvio is just starting to feel what playing with big boys is like and has not even began to grasp the play book.
Until he gets a basic understanding of those two and learns how to execute in real time he CANNOT be effective at game time. His stat line at OU, 1 minute, 3 TOs and 1 PF, that has to be a record. He looks like the proverbial deer in the headlights and he is constantly out of postilion and the team cannot run standard plays when he is in limiting its effectiveness. At this time, other than a couple of early minutes I just don’t see him playing anymore than that. KU has won its conference games by a n average margin of 4 points, think about it…4 POINTS, the margin of error is razor thin and Silvio makes it thinner.
I really like Silvio and I think that down the road he will be a stud, but at this time he is more of a liability than an asset. This is not a knock on him, a few week ago he was playing with HS boys and now he is facing college basketball elite men; unfair to expect him to step in and contribute right away.
Preston would have been in the ideal position to contribute since he had the Summer and pre-season to prepare but obviously that was not meant to be. He would have been the perfect player to guard Wade,

I simply addressed some specific points you brought up, repeatedly, but it it makes you feel better and not picked on, I would be happy to change my post and remove your name.
Why is it if a reply to one of your post stating my “OPINION” you get all out of shape? You state you “OPINION” all the the time including many with which I don’t agree and I don’t take it personally. This is a forum where we all exchange ideas and sometimes we agree and sometimes we don’t…it is the nature of every sports forum.

Wouldn’t it be really nice to see the guys come out and have a complete 40 minute game tonight instead of like what seems to happen this year? - -Have a solid 1st half - - have a solid 2nd half , would make it even more special considering it’s K-State.
I know they are suppose to be rivals , and I suppose they are - - just kind of hard to have a rivalry when we have won 55 out of the last 60, as some others on different sites have stated.
We need this win - would be big , yet even bigger as being on the road. - - We all know , as I was listening to the local sports radio this afternoon - -WIBW - and geez these guys are just all bubbly - talking about how they really see K-State having a very good shot at the win , got me to thinking back when WIBW use to be the flagship station for K-State. - -I mean very true K-State does have a good chance , we all know what their place is going to be like tonight, we know they going to be giving Doke the business - -they STILL going to be giving SVI the business - WIBW people saying it will rival the phog as far as loudness for tonight’s game , probably true , just kind of had to laugh - just seemed these guys were having a hard time containing their giggles thinking about the possibility of a K- State win without coming right out and saying they hope K-State won.
Would love to see KU come out and just be really sharp - think we need to focus on Doke more especially early - -can’t settle for nothing but a bunch of three’s - you can bet they are going to get sufficient calls against us - -more likely Doke will be in foul trouble early - whether legit or not - it’s just the nature of the game - the refs being at K-State getting wrapped up by the noise making questionable calls - -let’s just see how that plays out - -something to watch, just would be great if we could come out - put our foot on their throat from the get go - -if we can win in Morgantown - then we stick together - there isn’t any reason we can’t win in Manhattan. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@JayHawkFanToo joe tessitore, don’t think it was him, but not sure, for the Stanford game. He was so respectful of our program, AFH and coach Self. Didn’t call out the refs or act like he knew more than the coaches.

You know after giving it a little bit of thought about what you said about how I get all out of shape? - -you know your probably right - imagine that me saying your right. I think for me, it’s not so much that you disagree with me but the way you seem to come back at me, just me, I just have this feeling that you have had a burr up your ass with me from day one since I’ve been here - it’s the way you come at me or so it seems to me anyways , so ya I probably get out of shape more then I should. 12 turnovers and KSU is up 18-5 points off turnovers. KSU basically can’t even score the ball in the half court when Silvio isn’t in the game on Wade lol.
