Defense has kept KU in this game. The slower pace this half has definitely helped KU out and kept UT from getting any momentum this half.

That was the most pointless review ever. Spend 4 minutes on a play that KU was always going to decline and still have 4th a 5. If it was a completed pass or backed UT up for the punt, that’d be different. Thus was a waste of time.

Can’t spot that many point in the first quarter alone and expect to win games. Texas won the first quarter big, KU won the rest of the game but too many points to make up.

@JayHawkFanToo Simple solution is don’t stare down receivers to allow defenders to jump routes. That’s all those first 2 picks Stanley threw were, him staring down a receiver and the DB jumping the route. His 3rd pick was just as bad, softly lobbing the pass into the end zone for anyone to grab instead only his guy.

Interceptions were real killers. KU just does not have a Big 12 conference caliber QB.

@Texas-Hawk-10 Thank you for going, I know it’s hard to attend KU football games. I’m proud of how hard the boys played. Stanley has some really head scratching throws but I love how he stood in there and took some hits. I honestly wonder if we wouldn’t have stolen another game had be been heathy against the likes of CMU and Ohio. One the other hand I’m kinda ticked that we didn’t play harder against Baylor. That has to be the constant with this team going forward. Beaty has to get these guys to play hard with every snap then maybe we can win more than 3 games since MM was here.

@kjayhawks I don’t think KU wins any of those early game even with Stanley at QB. He’s just not a good QB. He kills way too many drives with picks and underthrown It’s.
His 3 picks gave UT 14 points and took 7 away from KU last night, that’s been his MO as a starter the last 2 seasons. He shows just enough to give hope, but it’s false hope because of his turnovers that put KU in deep holes. The UT upset last year was all on KU’s defense and KU being +4 in turnovers.
