Badgers beat Missouri

  • I just found out the other day the Badgers and Tigers played a closed door scrimmage. This wasn’t one of those exhibition deals. Instead it was just a scrimmage, but scores were kept and UW won 74-66.

I know it’s not specifically a KU story, but it does have some connections to us.

UW is doing one of those charity exhibitions tonight against UNI. Full house in the Kohl Center where tickets were free but undoubtedly not generating the passion of the KU-Missouri game.

Thanks for posting this. This is utterly relevant to us. It proves .600 Cuonzo has something real happening in Colnumbia. He played Kansas AND Wisconsin close. It means KU may not be as half baked as it appeared versus Fizzourah. It means there is hope for us. It means the Badgers are pretty good again, too. It means basketball is alive and well, even in Colnumbia.

  • @jaybate-1.0 Writers are foolishly picking Badgers for 7th or 8th. They’ve finished no worse than 4th since Bo Ryan arrived in 2001. Most of those years it seems they’ve foolishly picked the Badgers for 7th or 8th.

I can stay bullish on the Buckies, if you can.

And I can do this despite my Bums losing to the Stros. Woe are the Bums and their fans.

And despite Congressman Sensenbrenner reputedly “some how” miraculously having won the lottery three times!

(Note: see the unredacted version of this post under the politics section!!! All those that do not like politics, like @JayHawkFanToo, do NOT read the unredacted version of this post. ) 🙂

  • You get a chance you ought to look up Oklahoma and pull up their schedule. It shows highlights of their scrimmage/exhibition game for charity - -could be wrong it’s early morning but it was either Oklahoma or Texas check them out. - -Look at the attendance of their game - -that is IF you can see anyone - -Same went at K-State lol – -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Inter-school scrimmages such as the Oklahoma game and the MU-Wisconsin scrimmage are closed door so no fans/public would be present. Charity fund raiser scrimmages are open door to the public and some, such as the KSU-MSU game, had free admission with people making voluntary donations instead.
