My Second Reason For Preferring Bill Over Roy...

My second reason for preferring Bill over Roy… we all know what my first reason is.
Roy Williams refers to Maryland president as ‘double idiot’ after death penalty comments
Roy always said the wrong thing (and still does). Sometimes it is necessary to be an adult, even when approached with comments you deem as childlike. In this case, by the time Roy worked through defending himself, his comments appeared far more childish and questionable than Loh’s. UNC violated nothing?! Seriously?!
Roy’s comments does nothing but create more angst for UNC. Great job, Roy!
Wow… Roy and UNC is the VICTIM! I changed my mind… bring on the DEATH PENALTY!

Coach Williams always shoots from the hip and this is not always a good thing. As Mark Twain said …It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

@drgnslayr Yeah, when I saw Roy’s response to Loh yesterday on Yahoo News I thought, O Boy, aren’t we fortunate to have Bill Self speaking for our university and the Jayhawk athletic program. Roy had best tuck in his horns before he finds himself on vacation with that O’Reilly guy from Fox…or warming a seat on United, soaring off and away from the grand state of North Carolina.

@REHawk love your way w/words! Perfect!
-
@REHawk can you imagine what he could have said during our trying times this season? I think it took every oz of strength Self had to temper his anger at the media!
-
Roy intentionally did not recruit the best players when he was at KU in order to please his daddy Dean. Roy could not win the big game. Alot of the people who get frustrated at Bill because it’s been 9 years since the last title have no clue how deeply frustrated it was for Roy to do that for 15 straight years.

@drgnslayr at least he’s not an infinity idiot. No tag-backs.
-
@Blown lolol fantastic
-
@JayHawkFanToo Someone else said that before Mark Twain -
Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive. Proverbs 17: 28 NKJV

Different end result but same principle.
