Talk about Non KU games of interest. I'll start it off with the best score of the first week. SDState 68. Kansas St 66!

Iowa State also lost. Things we love to see.

Yes. Losing to a Summit League team should basically never happen.

Is this team the one we have been waiting for? We can hit the boards with TKR, Dawes and TS. We can fast break. We can turn it over and shoot 55% from the FT line. We can defend one on one and we have the big guards to do it with. We might get able to defend the three ball better. It seems we have several scorers including Mister Blyden Jr., Trey White and Tryan Stokes. Looks like we may be playing eight deep for some time. Blyden Jr, and Trey White have nice looking strokes and Stokes stroke looks pretty good too. We can be more than just pretty good but what superlative to use is to be seen. After about 6 or 7 games how good do we have to be to keep me from feeling disappointed even in a win? Our bigs have come across as they could be nasty as the game gets more physical. I hope Dawes keeps being aggressive on offense even though he missed six straight point blank shots at the end of the Louisville into the first part of the Fordham game. Having a team that shoots 55% from the field which may be attainable is a throw back to several years ago. TTU and ISU may not be great and neither have Zona, BYU and Houston looked scary yet. I feel like a media type who makes risky takes and hopes some of them stick.
