Guys and Gals, we could have a problem - - - HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM - LOL. - - No seriously my friends not sure if everyone up to date - -sure you are, BUT we might have a problem with the game Saturday. We may not be able to play the game Saturday. – Us one’s that are here in Kansas know we have a HUGE ice storm coming in. Surpose to start Friday a little bit, but the majority Saturday afternoon through the night and into most the day Sunday,They may postpone - - re-schedule because of the ice. - - National Weather service/National weather channel saying Kansas & Missouri is ground zero for this storm. - - Looking at possibly 1/2 of ice or more - -NOT GOOD. - - - It might come in later Saturday afternoon just heads up my Jayhawk Brothers and Sisters - - -most of all IF you go and they DO play - -BE SAFE MY FRIENDS. - - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayballer54 extreme forecasts are calling for up to 5" of moisture in SW kansas - could be ice could be several feet of snow. I’m banking on weathermen being idiots that couldn’t find their you know what with both hands and a mirror. Looks like we should get something though, hopefully closer to 1" than 5"!

A few years ago we were in the midst of an ice storm in Baton Rouge. LSU was scheduled to play Kentucky for an ESPN featured game. Kentucky was supposed to be great but that was the year they lost in the NIT. Anyways, I and a friend showed up knowing that most Cajuns were afraid of the icy roads, and they actually were icy. We went in and sat in vacant seats in the front row and witnessed the mild upset. Watching Kentucky lose is sweet!
My point is, when ESPN is calling the shots, which I assume they are Saturday, they’ll do all they can to make KU play the game.

@wissox ya, I’m sure they will but also realizing people’s safety. I know that North Carolina and North Carolina St had to be re-scheduled this year already and that was because of Snow - -Ice is worse and we all know ESPN was in control of the North Carolina game - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

The OSU game is on ESPN2 so it is not the feature game. The ISU game next Monday is on the main ESPN channel so it s the featured game.

If Patton could pull out of one winter battle, and move his Third Army through a winter storm to Bastogne, KU can stage this game in a damned ice storm. There are good men and women out their needing to play and watch basketball in the midst of these ongoing ungodly politics and journalism. We’re not waiting another day. We’re not waiting another hour to stage this game. We’re going to attack this ice storm and we’re going to keep attacking, and we’re going to PLAY THIS GAME…OR LET NO FAN COME BACK ALIVE!!

I will guess they drive Friday…this is what I would do. They could fly to Topeka on Saturday but I am not sure that airport is setup to deal with ice; Lawrence certainly isn’t. KCI would be a better option but they still have the drive to Lawrence.
