12 assists. Good to see DP learned how to pass the ball. Its a shame he never figured it out with us

I have a feeling passing on Peterson for Dybantsa, who will be an All Star, will not age well.

I’m happy to see him doing well, fairly disappointed in some of the negativity Jayhawk nation has shown him on social media. It stinks that he didn’t do some of this stuff here for sure but I just don’t understand the logic against rooting against this young man.

You could be right. I always heard that DPs game was a perfect fit for the NBA, more than Dybantsa or Boozer. I think this will really show through in summer league, where no one plays defense or even knows what defense is. Watch DPs highlights. Looks like high school defense against him. It's like he went back to high school. Let's pass judgment after he makes it through a real season. Defense starts happening in late spring. Also... can he play through injuries? That same question is valid for all 3 comparison guys. It should be fun watching these guys translate their game to the league!

I smell a run! (better buy more toilet paper)

DP had good numbers tonight against the Wizards even though his team didn't win

I watched this one to check out the hype. DP was ok. He was bumped and defended hard all game. Made a few nice shots. One from way deep at the buzzer! He was sloppy though. Same issue tonight we saw at KU? Didn’t pass well out of a double team or when pressed. Looks like teams have decided to push him around, see how he reacts. One very dumb reaction when blatantly pushed — he got frustrated and got caught shoving a dude.

AJ looked pretty good. Crowd liked him.

Summer league means nothing in predicting a players success does it? Not saying DP won't be successful, but we've gushed over KU guys a lot because in a silly league game they scored 23 with 12 boards and then not even make the team.

@wissox83 it was 25 points and 12 assists. I get your point, but still excited to see Darryn get 12 assists, a dimension we didnt see at KU.
