Ok, who's watchin ?
-
Marathon tipoff - – - Watchin the Baylor, Oregon game, I dunno this 7 footer Jo Lual-Acuil mercy dangerous defensively looks pretty sweet 11 rebounds at half not sure how many blocks – is a Freshman - - Baylor up on # 4 Oregon 10 at half, ya Dillon Brooks is out - -Just impressed with the Freshman - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
The league needs this win. Go Bears!
-
@BShark Absolutely. I haven’t really been watching. How does Oregon look compared to last year?
-
Acuil isn’t a frosh though. He’s a JUCO that had to sit out last year for medical reasons. He is 22 years old and only has one year remaining after this.
Bit sloppy, but that’s to be expected especially without their catalyst offensively.
-
Baylor looks really good. 2 players in particular are upgrades to the guys they had last year.
Acuil is a shot-blocker, looks to be one of the best out there.
Lecomte is a knock down shooter at the PG spot. He is really quick as well.
I know its a home game and Oregon is minus its best player but Baylor’s zone looks really tough and obvious upgrades at positions
-
I will never fear Baylor as long as Drew is there but this is a nice win for them.
-
Baylor does look good, but I think it is more of Oregon being subpar right now, especially without Brooks. Oregon is 3/21 from three - they might struggle shooting the ball this year. Can’t really take much from these early games. And besides, it is never an indicator of how far teams will go in March. In '11 - '12 season, we lost to UK and Duke in the non-con and got what some would call an asterisk win over Ohio State without Sullinger in Lawrence, yet went to the title game. It’s a long season.

Agree. At the end of the day, Drew gonna Drew/Baylor gonna Baylor.
-
@jayballer54 Baylors size and shot blocking will bother us when we play but they still have Scott Drew so i like our chances

Might be more of a factor if they played man d. Traditionally, Self has the team ready to carve that deliciously soft and tender turke…zone.
-
Everyone remember that time Jamari destroyed Baylor’s zone?
-
@BShark Yes I do i thought he was primed at the end of his So. year to be great but it didnt end that way, still love Mari tho,
-
@HawkChamp no Dillon Brooks - -injured makes a difference - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
Watched Travis ford kick butt w/100 or so fans. He’s going to have to meet students and get them there!
-
UK and MSU entertaining so far
-
I wish we would run as much as Kentucky does. Best way to get easy points. All starts with rebounding.

+1. Gotta love Mari, even if I felt Diallo should have played over him last year.
-
@BShark Ya Mari is one of those guys like TRob that I will always remember because of their hustle and heart, even tho Trob was considerably better as a player. Trob is my all time fav, and my avatar lol.
-
Baylor took down #4 Oregon
-
NEVER FORGET
-
Kentucky is scary defensively.
-
@BShark YES +1000 I still hate pressey
-
Waiting on MD-Georgetown to end to watch the Badgers. This game is like the old BigEast games that delayed our big monday viewing. Taking forever.
-
@wissox Maybe MSU will just say mercy so we can start before 9
-
@kjayhawks I hate these late starts.
