@kjayhawks Since I cheer for Chicago guys, I too was excited for him. I’d seen him play in HS and he looked really good when I saw him. But wow, he let the whole Windy City down last year!
@approxinfinity I enjoy the heck out of Halloween and it’s rubbed off on my kids. They love all the spooky stuff. Last year my then 3 year old boy was at Walmart with his mother looking at Halloween costumes - she was trying to get him to agree to a Woody from toy story outfit, but he wouldn’t have it and kept picking up a bloody pumpkin head specter costume. Some older lady walked down the isle and started giving my wife a lecture on parenting - you’re going to give him nightmares letting him play with that scary stuff - When my 3 year old turns to her waves his fingers in at her and says “oooooh spoooooky!” Sarcastic sucker. I’ve got my hands full, but he sure makes me chuckle.

Bird was a better shooter, no doubt.
Lebron is a better athlete and a better slasher.
Lebron was a better perimeter defender (particularly earlier in his career). Bird was better in the post before his back betrayed him.
Hard to say who the better passer was. The video doesn’t give much in the way of separation. I don’t think there’s anything passing wise that one could do in their prime that the other could not have done.
The overall edge goes to Lebron because of his durability. Bird just can’t match his production over the long haul, but Bird was an ALL TIME great, full stop.
@mayjay they drove straight thru, last I knew 19 hrs. Sump pump w/battery pack is in today. High dollar! Restoration people still not there! Carpet soaked since wed pm. He said the smell is bad! Mildew!
Heard Dedric is now a Spur. Maybe I can see him if he starts out with Austin Spurs.
Per Matt Tait:
Undrafted in June after an All-American season at Kansas in 2018-19, Lawson reportedly has agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Spurs. This is different than a two-way deal in which a player splits time between the NBA club and its G League affiliate and, in some ways, is better.
Exhibit 10 contracts are basically non-guaranteed, one-year deals worth the league minimum. That number, for a player with 0 years of experience last season was $838,000. Not bad.
