There’s plenty of precedent for Self starting more experienced players and finishing with someone else. Russ Rob comes to mind but I think there have been others through the years.
The best draft guide I have ever seen is Dane Brugler’s “The Beast” on The Athletic. Hundreds of pages evaluating dozens of players with lots more background than most.
Anyway, by his rankings, KC has managed to pick up 4 of the top 89 draft prospects in this year’s draft. Including his no. 1 safety. In Veach we trust.
