DaJuan Appreciation Thread
Let’s send some Jayhawk love to our PG.
Where will we be without him?
Ever since his first year, our team looks different (better) when he is on the court.
The guy is genuinely modest, no hoopla, just goes about his business without drama.

HAPPY NEW YEAR (2018)
I’d like to take the opportunity and wish all members of this board a very happy and prosperous new year. I hope that this coming year and beyond bring prosperity in our lives and peace in our minds. At the same time I hope that this year is a special one for our basketball team.
If I have offended anyone with my past posts and comments I ask for your forgiveness.
Happy New Year.

RE: Super Bowl
After reflecting on the season, Chiefs are Super Bowl champions because of their D.

RE: Bill Self Playing Favorites
I feel blessed to be able to watch this game in person. I was extremely disappointed by Grimes. He seemed to be lost from get go and was making bad plays, he was completely out of it. While Marcus was not scoring points, he was still playing with great hustle and energy even in the first half. His D was much better than Grimes.
Self mentioned it in the post game that he decided to start Marcus so he can get players who were playing best, and I agree with him there that overall Marcus was playing much better than Q.
Overall I was really impressed by Dotson. Its hard to tell on TV but watching in real time action the kid is super fast and plays with great intensity the whole time. He is going to be a star.

RE: St Joes Game Thread
Playing Harris takes pressure off Marcus. I loved his poise.
To me Wilson is the most improved player from last year.
Nice come back for Braun.
Abaji needs to keep shooting.
Enaruna has talent and length, hope that Self can give him more PT.
Bryce will be a star by next year.

RE: 2024 NFL Offseason - FAs, Trades, Draft
@dylans The way he said it came out very insulting and demeaning for women and marginalized communities.

RE: 2024 MLB Season
Royals are half a game behind first place Indians.
Are they legit or an aberration?
I think starting pitching is solid but hitting is mediocre, need much better production from outfielders.
Bullpen is so so, can definitely use an upgrade.
I am enjoying the ride tho, hope they can continue on the winning path.

RE: Furphy
@bskeet I posted in another thread arguing that physically he is not ready to play in NBA, look at his age, weight and physical strength, he is not ready for NBA’s brutal rigor.
It is known that real money is made in 2nd/3rd contract.
He can get picked in mid to late first round, but he will most likely be warming the bench or playing in G league.
After a few months he may be traded and move around before disappearing.
His parents seem to be doing well in the sense that he does not need money right away to support them, so even without NIL he can wait to get real money and get drafted much higher and have a longer NBA career.
