@Crimsonorblue22 Those little red lines under words actually mean misspellings…I thought that might be helpful for you when you type, so we can better understand you. Bill Self is really a genius, and is a master at building people up.One of his greatest pupils was Hudy, who he helped become who she is today. He did such a good job that people actually think that Hudy made Bill…when in reality, it was Bill that made Hudy.

@drgnslayr Having sex with your girlfriend in the field house is as close to oncourt as it gets…lol. Tyshawn showed great improvement the 2nd half of his senior year. However, he will always be a knucklehead to me for his many t.o.s over his KU career.

@FarmerJayhawk Death, where is thy sting? Jesse is young, and it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if he was given the assignment to be the heavy. He’s really a nice guy- he’s definitely not a KU hater in any way, shape, or form.

@stoptheflop Jesse used to stop by KU Buckets and chat with us from time to time.

RE: Devonposted in KU Basketball / Other NCAAM
@drgnslayr You don’t think Tyshawn was a knucklehead? How many other players have been suspended for doing the dirty in the field house? Tyshawn was really good for one half of a season- the rest of the time, he was a walking turnover machine. He ended his career on a very high note…playing in the national championship game. He’s indelibly etched into my all time knucklehead list.

RE: Chiefs!posted in KC Chiefs / Other NFL
@Kcmatt7 Here’s breakdown of the KC backfield. Thompson is getting all of the goal line carries, and is taking half the snaps with the first team the last two weeks.

@kjayhawks I picked the ISU score on the button. I figured we would be more dynamic on offense.
-
RE: Chiefs!posted in KC Chiefs / Other NFL
@kjayhawks He’ll probably have some good games, but they’ll gradually fade McCoy out, and go with Thompson. Shady went from the outhouse to the penthouse, didn’t he?
-
RE: Chiefs!posted in KC Chiefs / Other NFL
@BShark It must be nice getting to watch that offense every week.
-
RE: Chiefs!posted in KC Chiefs / Other NFL
Darwin Thompson will be a star for the Chiefs…forget Shady…forget Damien…Thompson will be the unquestioned starter by the end of the year, imo.

@HighEliteMajor Archie Marshall getting hurt cost us the title that year, because we were the best team until then.

RE: Devonposted in KU Basketball / Other NCAAM
@jayballer73 When I started following KU basketball, Dave Robish was our center. I remember them playing Villanova in the NCAA tournament on tv, and I was really impressed with Dave. I became a KU fan instantly. That was the first KU game I had ever seen.

RE: Devonposted in KU Basketball / Other NCAAM
@HighEliteMajor That was my favorite game of the Roy Williams era. We POUNDED UNLV. When UNLV went on to win the national championship, I kept thinking if only we had made it that far, the championship would’ve been ours…
-
RE: Devonposted in KU Basketball / Other NCAAM
@wissox That’s when I realized what a genius Roy Williams was as a coach. He took a marginal talent, taught the guy to seal off his man in the post, and make the easy layup. He became a force on our team. That’s some great coaching with that one.

Here is a very good article about Gradey Dick. The kid is DYNAMIC …
https://kansas.rivals.com/news/gradey-dick-has-a-strong-connection-to-kansas-and-other-programs
The pull quote: "Don’t be surprised if Dick eventually emerges as one of the most heavily coveted prospects in the 2022 class when all is said and done."
-
RE: 2020 Recruitingposted in KU Basketball Recruiting
@jayballer73 "Dick, a 6-foot-5, 170-pound guard in the Class of 2022 from Wichita Collegiate, received a scholarship offer from the Jayhawks this summer and made a name for himself in the recruiting world with a solid summer when he showcased his extreme athleticism.
“This kid is a very skilled prospect who plays with a high motor and is ultra-aggressive on the court,” Kusports.com recruiting insider Matt Scott said.
Dick has teamed with fellow-Class of 2022 prospect Mark Mitchell, of Bishop Miege, on the summer circuit and is considered by many recruiting analysts to be a fast-riser in the class."

@Texas-Hawk-10 Excellent analysis. I think you hit every point. The one point I would make about Moss is he has played with Devon in the past, so that familiarity could pay dividends in several ways. When he starts learning the offensive sets, and he is completely wide open for shots, I think he is going to very glad he isn’t still at Iowa. Like you said though, it’s going to take some time to adjust.

RE: Appearances by Miles, Self highlight KU's annual Traditions Nightposted in KU Basketball News Feeds
@kubuckets Senior grad transfer Isaiah Moss is on campus after spending the summer in his native Chicago working an internship and working out with trainers in preparation for his move to Kansas. Moss, a 6-foot-5, 208-pound shooting guard who previously starred at Iowa, is immediately eligible and is expected to bring key 3-point shooting to the Kansas rotation.
Hot diggety dog.

RE: ESPN+ Seriesposted in KU Football / Other NCAAF
I push the limits with streaming TV. I pay 8.00 a month, and I have a very nice selection of choices. I probably shouldn’t go into detail on a public forum, though. However, imagine wanting to watch a show on ABC … which time zone do you want to watch? Which ABC station do you want to watch…Tampa, NYC, KC, LA, or any other across the US ? Think about the choices you’d have in the NFL if you had access to every station on every network in America? Of course…this is all hypothetical, so I’m not actually admitting to anything nefarious or anything. ABC is a free channel, you know. It’s not like I would have access to every ESPN channel in every market, or every HBO, SHOWtime, Cinemax channel on the planet or anything. Or movies still out or anything.

RE: KU forward David McCormack thankful for trying freshman season, ready for more in Year 2posted in KU Basketball News Feeds
@jayballer73 I’m thinking Wayne Simien type upside by the time he’s gone. He is simply relentless in going after what he wants… the weight loss and the body transformation have been simply amazing. The complete dedication to mastering his craft … that attitude he brings to challenges portend a huge upside. I also think what he brings is infectious. This guy is a total warrior- once he gets good, he’s going to be really good. I don’t see any possible way he doesn’t play 20 minutes a game.

RE: 2020 Recruitingposted in KU Basketball Recruiting
I really like Harris. He’s real smooth with the ball, passes beautifully… no look passes … the whole shebang. He can drive to the basket and score, and seems to be able to hit a jumper. What I like best are those quick hands…picking off passes, and making steals and taking them the other way. Hopefully, he can build his body up without losing his quickness. In a couple years, the dude could be really good.
